ABOUT

I am an Israeli visual storyteller, researcher and a dancer, currently based in Jerusalem. In 2022, I gained a B.Sc in Biology and B.A in Amirim, Humanities Honors program, from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. On January 2024, I have begun studying in the M.A Culture Studies program of The Hebrew University as well.

When violent events broke out between Jews and Palestinians in May 2021 in Jerusalem and other cities, I decided to go out and document what was happening in my surrounding, and since then I haven't actually stopped. I worked with various local and international journals and NGO's, to tell the story of the people I live next to: Jews, Palestinians, dancers, the LGBTQ community, residents of the West Bank etc.

Photography allows me to participate in the common life in Israel and Palestine in continuous learning about people and about me. When I photograph, I look for the subtle transition between the personal and the collective story, and I like to refer to the local languages, history, space and textures.
